Westmead Private Hospital introduced a new paint colour scheme and wished to implement it throughout the hospital with new carpeting to match.
The key challenge, Facilities Manager Dale Wade explained, was the hospital’s budget constraints. “We faced both operational challenges with regards to the areas requiring painting and carpeting, as well as internal budgeting constraints.
Additionally, the commercial painting and carpeting needed to be completed within a very short time frame to ensure that the hospital looked its best for an imminent corporate event it was hosting.
According to Mr Wade, Programmed were chosen to complete the project because “the works were structured in such a way that we could fund them within our budgetary constraints. Of all the companies that qualified, Programmed were the most interested in our business, following up on all my queries and alleviating any concerns raised. Programmed also delivered an outstanding proposal that offered almost unlimited flexibility as well as best value for money.”
To ensure the project was completed with minimal disruption to the hospital’s daily activities, we closely coordinated our works with the hospital and worked at night.
The commercial painting works were completed within the time frame and have given Westmead Private Hospital a new refreshed, modern appearance.
The hospital has received lots of positive feedback on the new colour scheme and carpeting. “The works have made a huge improvement that has been noted by many. The staff also commended the guys for their ‘low impact’ work practices,” said Mr Wade. These ensured the hospital was able to maintain its normal daily operations.
